Eve Ensler is the creator of the Vagina Monologues, which are a series of monologues about women's experiences centered on their vagina, their sexuality and their life. She has created a movement that has propelled women to act in their communities to make life better for women. Her speech makes me hopeful for the future; the momentum of such a movement, once started cannot be stopped. I am impressed with how she describes happiness; she gives great advice on how to create happiness for the world, by giving the thing that you most needed. She talks about happiness and how talking about things that are right in front of you can create happiness. I agree with her, I think there is something therapeutic about giving your story a voice and relating to others that have a similar life experience.
